Makes me sound like I'm in a studio, most of the time
This app is seriously clever. My voice sounds crisp and clean on calls. However, I've had a few instances where it seemed to cut off the very beginning of my sentences, maybe being too aggressive. It's rare, but noticeable. For 95% of calls, it's flawless and has stopped my apologies for lawnmowers and delivery trucks.
Free tier is a fantastic way to try it out
I was skeptical but used the free version for a week. I'm now a convert. The 60 minutes is enough for my key meetings. It removed the constant construction noise from outside my apartment completely. The setup took two minutes—just select 'Krisp Microphone' in Zoom. I'll probably upgrade soon because I don't want to be without it.
Almost perfect for hybrid meeting rooms
We use Krisp in our small conference room that's sometimes used for hybrid meetings. It does a great job cancelling the echo from the room speaker and muffling side conversations. It's not a magic fix for terrible room acoustics, but it makes a noticeable improvement. We tried a few solutions, and this was the simplest to implement.
Worth every penny for call center agents
I manage a remote support team, and we rolled out Krisp company-wide. The difference in call clarity is night and day, both for our agents and our customers. It filters out chaotic background noise from home environments. It's one of those tools that just works in the background, making everyone sound more professional.
It works well, but it's a resource hog on my older laptop
The noise cancellation is genuinely impressive. My team says I sound much clearer. However, I've noticed it causes significant battery drain and makes my fan spin up loudly. On my newer work machine it's fine, but on my personal laptop, it's a trade-off between clean audio and performance. I only turn it on for important meetings now.
Essential tool for podcasting and remote interviews
I run a small podcast and often record guests over calls. Krisp has been a game-changer. It cleans up both sides of the conversation, so even if a guest is in a cafe, their audio comes through clean. It saves me hours of editing. The HD voice in the Pro plan makes a noticeable difference in quality.
Great noise cancellation, but the transcription is just okay
As a freelance consultant, clear calls are non-negotiable. Krisp's noise cancellation is fantastic—my keyboard clicks and AC hum are completely gone. The meeting notes feature is a nice bonus, but I find the transcription accuracy to be a bit hit-or-miss, especially with technical terms. Still, for the primary job of cleaning audio, it's excellent.
A lifesaver for working from a noisy home
I have two kids and a dog, and my home office is right by the street. Before Krisp, my colleagues would hear everything. Now, my calls are crystal clear. They can't believe how quiet it is on my end. I use it on Zoom and Teams all day. The free tier was great to test, but I upgraded for unlimited use.
